SUITABILITY: Loki is a god and a frost giant from another realm so he’s really old, but looks like he’s in his 30’s.

CANON POINT: Season 2, episode 5

ABILITIES: Loki is a demi-god, a frost giant and a very powerful mage. He’s also trained in hand to hand combat, preferring to use daggers, but his magic is his most powerful ability. He has a laundry list of spells he can use, mostly to do with illusions and conjuration. He can also teleport (including moving other people or objects, not just himself) and has some mind manipulation abilities. I would say I might need something to cap some of his abilities, just because he can easily get himself out of most situations and skirt a lot of things with his magic. I am, however, fully willing to just have his magic not work perfectly in any given situation for allow for game play to happen. VICES:

Selfish: Though Loki has come a long way since joining the TVA and this vice is not to the level it once was, he still very much thinks of things when related to himself. When confronted by Sylvie about why he’s trying to get everyone together again after he finds everyone is back in their roles on the Sacred Timeline, he eventually admits it’s not just because he wants to save everyone, but mainly because he wants his friends back. Even if they are happier where they are, he wants them around again.

Pompous: Loki very much thinks he’s better than most others. It wasn’t until quite recently that he’s found others he actually thinks highly of. He’s very good at what he does and he knows it. As such he really needs people to prove to him that they’re worthy of his time, though he is more easily convinced now.

Quick to Anger: Loki’s temperament has gotten much better lately, but it is still quite easy to annoy him and he will not hesitate to use his magic to take revenge. Most recently, when someone was trying to pick a fight with him, he teleported them out of the building they were in and into a cage outside. He rather gleefully waved at the man as he passed by a few moments later. Then he never thought of him again.
VIRTUES:

Intelligent: Loki is very smart and able to learn things rather quickly. Even if it’s rather difficult, he will use whatever means at his disposal to teach himself, no matter how long it takes. This is fairly evident just from his abilities as a mage and with how cunning he’s been in the past when he wanted something, but more recently he’s learned how to enchant other beings (meaning he can enter their minds, see their memories and influence them). He’s always had a little bit of this, but he’s levelled up more recently. Also, he’s just managed (or so he thought as it’s how I plan on bringing him into the game) managed to control his time-slipping where he’s being randomly dragged to various points in time in various places.

Loyal: This is very new, but more recently, as Loki has been able to grow as a person and not just be a foil for his brother and his friends, Loki has been found to be quite loyal. He cares very much about his friends/found family and will do anything to keep them safe. He’s been working tirelessly to try and save everyone and keep everyone together so that the multiverse can have real freedom.

Funny/Good Sense of Humour: He is a trickster god, after all. For a long time he used his powers for evil rather than good, but lately he’s been using his love of mischief and chaos more in an entertaining way. He still likes to pick on his friends, but it’s in a truly fun and carefree way now. Whether he’s releasing goats as the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius begins the destruction of Pompeii, or teasing his best friend by ruining his lunch or pointing out his white lies, he’s always entertaining. I really think this link is a great example of both Loki’s intelligence and sense of humour and is really what I’m going for here.

▷ Of course! Everyone loves me! I am a riot at parties. [ooc: While not an outright lie, making friends is a rather new phenomenon for Loki. Though even when he didn’t have friends, he did tend to be invited to parties. That part was the truth.]

▶ SEEING OTHER PEOPLE CRY MAKES ME WANT TO CRY TOO.
▷ Not particularly. [ooc: The part he’s leaving out here is that it depends on who it is. If it’s someone he cares about, all bets are off.]

▶ I OFTEN MAKE A BACKUP PLAN FOR A BACKUP PLAN.
▷ Never! Where is the fun in that? [ooc: This answer is 100% true.]

▶ I USUALLY STAY CALM, EVEN WHEN UNDER A LOT OF PRESSURE.
▷ Always! I am a masterful actor and no one knows what I am truly thinking or feeling. [ooc: While this answer is 100% false. He is prone to freaking out when things are going badly.]

▶ I AM VERY SENTIMENTAL.
▷ I don’t know if I would go so far as to say very… but I suppose I miss people when they are gone. [ooc: This one is more or less the truth. He’s just downplaying it. He very much misses some people and he’s still a little heartbroken over having to see the movie of his life on the sacred timeline. Watching his actions result in the death of his mother and seeing his father forgive him just before his death were no small things for Loki.]

▶ EVEN A SMALL MISTAKE CAN CAUSE ME TO DOUBT MY OVERALL ABILITIES AND KNOWLEDGE.
▷ Never! I could not imagine. I am fully capable and confident in all of my abilities. [ooc: Though he is rather confident in his abilities, he can second guess himself when it comes to things he’s new at. Like relationships. In which case his knowledge (and experience) can fail him.]

▶ I AM MORE INCLINED TO FOLLOW MY HEAD THAN MY HEART.
▷ I believe that both are important when making decisions and should be considered equally. [ooc: While this is true, he is more a creature of feelings than thought. He will act on a whim based on how he feels in the moment, even if he knows better. Sometimes because he knows better.]

▶ I AM PRONE TO WORRYING THAT THINGS WILL TAKE A TURN FOR THE WORSE.
▷ Why worry when you know things will take a turn for the worse? [This is the truth. Things always famously go wrong for Loki and he was informed recently that his original purpose was to fail in order for others to succeed. He’s getting better at overcoming that, but it still plays in the back of his mind.]

▶ I ENJOY WATCHING PEOPLE ARGUE.
▷ Oh yes. It can be quite entertaining. Especially if I am the one who orchestrated it. [All true, though if it’s something that’s impeding something he thinks is important, or it’s between two friends, he’ll try to put a stop to it.]

▶ I TEND TO AVOID DRAWING ATTENTION TO MYSELF.
▷ Where is the fun in that? Everyone should know me! [100% Truth.]

▶ I OFTEN DO THINGS AT THE LAST POSSIBLE MOMENT.
▷ That is the best option usually. Always good to think on your feet. [Once again, truth, though he does actually attempt making plans sometimes, he just doesn’t mind if they fall through.]

▶ I FIND IT EASY TO EMPATHIZE WITH A PERSON WHOSE EXPERIENCES ARE VERY DIFFERENT FROM MINE.
▷ I am unsure how to answer that question. [That’s only because he’s new to empathy and isn’t always comfortable expressing it. He really has only managed it with the people he’s closest with so answering it here to a strange survey is making him want to hit the ‘next’ button.]

▶ I BECOME BORED OR LOSE INTEREST WHEN THE DISCUSSION GETS HIGHLY THEORETICAL.
▷ Only if there is not intelligent thought behind the ideas being presented. I have no patience for stupidity. [No lies detected.]

▷ Insecurity? Pfft, I hardly know the meaning of the word! [This is very much a lie. He’s felt insecure his whole life. It wasn’t until very recently when he was told by someone he cares very much for that he can be whatever he wants, even something good, that he’s started to feel truly better about himself.]

▶ I AM STILL BOTHERED BY MISTAKES I MADE A LONG TIME AGO.
▷ I believe I have made amends. [The truth here is that this is a work in progress. He still very much feels badly about how he handled a lot of things leading up to his arrest and capture by the TVA. Pretty much everything he’s done since is an attempt to make up for those mistakes.]

SUIT REQUESTS: I am open to any of the suits, but if I have to choose preferences, either hearts or clubs are what I’m most drawn to.
RANK REQUESTS: Again, I am open to anything. Of course, being a former prince, Loki will likely take well to a higher rank, but I would find it amusing if he was rather lowly ranked.
