It is simply a more formal word for sex. There are certainly worse words to use. Intimacy is a fine word, but it can refer to things other than sex and I assume could cause some confusion without context. Though I suppose this place is practically bleeding context.

Are you friendly with any Clubs? I would love to know how they managed it. There must have been some strategy. Perhaps they are more organized than the other suits and managed to come together to pull something off? I doubt very much it was an easy task or that the hotel let control go without a fight. Unless it was some sort of test?

He’s starting to feel like the more he investigates, the more he tries to figure out, the less he knows. Every time he comes up with one theory, it simply leads to more possibilities and it is very frustrating.]
How powerful someone is does not seem to affect what this place can accomplish. Whether that is taking or returning or whatever it is that might happen.
