History: A Life Filled with Glorious Purpose

Though this is how he normally presents, Loki is actually a frost giant. If anyone ever gets him to take down his glamour, he’s actually blue with bright red eyes. He also has raised marks in patterns all over his skin.

Personality: At this point in his life, he’s very angry and bitter. He feels as though he’s constantly been overshadowed by his older brother and doesn’t get the respect he deserves as the Rightful King of Asgard. He’s also more than a little angry that he was lied to about his heritage for his entire life as recently he discovered that he is not Aesir, but rather Jotun, a race of frost giants that he was raised to believe were monsters. After that he figured if he’s a monster, he might as well act like one.

However, this is just a defence mechanism as he feels rather betrayed by his family. If anyone can get through that shield, he’s actually quite charming, intelligent and funny. He loves a good party full of drugs, sex and drinking games.

This is not to say that Loki is necessarily a good person, though he has the ability to be. Unfortunately, that is not something he believes. He is often torn between his anger and his need to be liked. This, along with his being the god of mischief and rather chaotic means you may never know how he might react to any given situation. He might be happy one minute, depressed or angry the next.

Above all else, he will always do what he thinks will benefit himself the most. He doesn’t believe that anyone else has his back and therefore he will do whatever he needs to ensure his own safety and happiness.

Clearly he has not done well in this area, considering where he finds himself now.

What did they do to end up here?: Most recently he was arrested by the Avengers and was being transported back to Asgard to stand trial for mass murder, mind control and trying to invade Earth, taking out countless people when he led an alien army of Chitauri to cause mass destruction in New York City.

Powers / Abilities:
Loki has a number of powers and abilities due to his frost giant biology including:
Superhuman strength
Superhuman durability - typical human weapons such as guns and knives don’t do much of anything to him
Superhuman speed
Superhuman agility
Superhuman stamina
Superhuman reflexes
Regenerative healing factor - though it is still quite possible to kill him, just harder than a human
Longevity -he’s 1000 years old and not old.
Cold Immunity

In addition, Loki is an adept mage and if given time, could become the most powerful mage in existence (if you ask him). He is particularly adept at the following:
Illusion Manipulation - In short, he can perform complex illusions to make things look different than they are. Room’s been destroyed? No one can tell. He’s a redecorators dream!
Decoy Manipulation - he can recreate an exact facsimile of himself. In fact he can make many multiples of himself. Also known as duplication casting.
Presence Manipulation - he can make himself and others unseen and unheard from anyone he chooses eyes.
Mental Manipulation - he has the ability to subtly affect others minds and make them do things they wouldn’t ordinarily do. He can also force people to relive memories as if they were there again, though he cannot mind read or completely control their minds.
Conjuration - Loki can produce any object, seemingly from nowhere at will. He typically does this with his daggers.
Telekinesis

Finally, Loki is also has a genius level intellect (though I do not, so no one should expect too much here) and is also a highly skilled warrior and master tactician. He prefers to fight with his daggers, but is also highly skilled in using a spear and is an expert marksman.

Loki may be rather powerful, but he also tends to have his plans not work out for varying reasons. As such, I am good to have his powers not actually help him much in game.
