Goals: At this point in Loki’s life, he has two core goals. One, revenge, mostly on Odin, for lying to him his whole life and using him as a means to keep the peace with the Jotnar. Two, get back to Asgard and take control. He’s destined to be King, after all.
Morals:Loki has his own set of morals that don’t really translate to anyone else or what they might think of as good or bad. He’s willing to do or say anything if it gets him what he wants. He’s a rather adept liar, and will lie to trick others into doing what he wants, but hates it when others lie to him. Essentially, if it’s good for him, he’s fine with it, if it isn’t, it’s bad.
Struggles: Loki’s struggles are very much all mental/psychological. He currently feels very hurt and angry. He only recently found out that he was adopted and is really from a people that he was raised to think of as his enemy. As a result, he feels like he’s been used and lied to his whole life and he no longer trusts anyone except himself.
In addition to that, the real truth that lies deep within Loki is that he’s sad and scared and lonely. He doesn’t know how to deal with people and is convinced no one likes him anyway. So he acts out to push people away. Better to make them leave than have them leave on their own. This way, he at least has some control.
Position: At least to start, I want to play Loki as a student. Though I would also like to have him have a campus job. Possibly in the Library or the Bookstore.
Explanation: Though Loki does have enough intelligence and experience to teach a subject or two, I just can’t imagine him doing that at this point in his life. He has zero urge to give anything away to anyone. Though if he hits a redemption arc sometime during the game, he might change his mind on that. He’ll be a terrible student too, but he does like learning so I figure he’ll fit in best there. As for the jobs, I think he’d like to be around books and take the opportunity of being mean (and probably playing pranks) on teachers and students alike while working there.
