That isn’t really surprising, except when it comes to me, but I will take your word for it.

Control is a strong word. My counterpart was the one more capable of actual control, but I am able to enter one’s mind and find blocked memories. I could also cause someone to lose consciousness for a time, but that is about it. It is a rather new ability for me, one I have not had time to really work on, so that is about the extent of what I can currently do.

Am I to understand that when the Captain was speaking with me before, he really was curious about helping you? Or does he truly believe he’s had his memories erased.

Yes, it is much like hypnosis, except you will be fully aware. I have no interest in controlling you. It would merely aid in opening up any locked away memories.
